Dear VPN users, in our pursue of perfection we have decided to replace server acting as UK4.
Note, this change will affect clients only who use UK package 1, US/UK/DE or super premium US/UK/NL/DE VPN packages.
We have noticed, that this server is quite popular with you (do not forget that there is up to 8 different UK servers that you can use – depending on your VPN package). Because of that, we want to make sure that you will never get to the point where due to traffic load you service will not be excellent every single time you use it.
As we mentioned above this was one of the reasons we have decided to completely change the hardware on our side.
The new server is accessible with the same host name (uk4.hideipvpn.com) as the previous one. No changes are needed if you are using PPTP, L2TP or proxy connection with the name of the server also if you are using our windows software just check if you have the latest version. However, if for your configuration you are using IP address, please check the servers IP addresses list and update your settings.
Also, if you connect using OpenVPN and you used config files for China users, please make sure you got the latest configuration file for China users.
Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause you, but we do not expect any interruption in our service. We hope that you understand that all such changes are made with you best interest in mind. If, (although it is unlikely) you will encounter any technical problems or difficulties, please open support ticket in your client area.
