This needs to be the very first step you have to take on your way to enjoy unlimited streams of live (and on demand) UK ITV programmes. As we have shown you in the past, on the occasion of unblocking BBC iPlayer on WP8 devices, this time there is no need for VPN. Go to your phone settings, choose “region” and set option “Country/Region” to United Kingdom. Now you have to restart your device. On both iOS and Android we would simply recommend easiest and best solution for such purposes – VPN. No VPN? Use proxy DNS – SmartDNS!
We have thought about not only WP7/8/8.1 users but about all devices without VPN support, that do have access to the internet. Their users in many cases are interested in crossing geo-regional restrictions. For such occasion we have introduced proxy DNS SmartDNS.
