Dear Friends, as you know from our blog posts as well as information we are publishing on our Facebook page, HideIPVPN has gone over some big changes over the previous weeks. We would like to make sure that we have used all the communication channels with our customers and that everyone is able to benefit form implemented changes. We are hoping that we are on the right path to become the best VPN service in the world.
We have started with a complete change of our website. We hope that new look makes things a lot easier for all of you. Client area, blog news, tutorials for your new devices, live-chat – are all more accessible and user friendly.
The next step for us was to introduce a brand new and truly praised VPN protocol – SoftEther. It is more secure and a lot faster than OpenVPN, but at the same time it is free, open source and multi-platform project. And unlike other protocols it is independent from big corporations and governments.
After that we have upgraded all our VPN servers to a higher specification standard. Right now, they all are capable of giving user up to 1 Gbps of unlimited bandwidth. This means even better experience with high quality video and much smaller upload and download times. This also means that servers have now brand new IP addresses. Because of that we have asked those of you, who are not using our free VPN software to implement changes manually.
And when we talk about download speeds and bandwidth we cannot forget about the fact, that with the raise in popularity of our P2P/BitTorrent plan we have lowered its price and increased number of available VPN servers – 8 in total. As all other servers they also offer speeds of up to 1 Gbps.
Our Smart DNS service is constantly improved with new sites being unblocked. We are working now on changes to our VPN application as well as new versions for new platforms.
We hope that this short summary of changes will allow you to better know what is happening to HideIPVPN and why. We also hope, that this might be additional reason for you to stay with us or even ask your friends and family to join our VPN community.
As always, if you have any questions we are here to help you!
